Each year, we release an exclusive poster design created by an artist in the local community. These vibrant works of art showcase the creative talent in Thibodaux and make for unforgettable souvenirs.
I'm a simple guy, born and raised in Thibodaux, who enjoys graphic design, triathlons, being a father, good whiskey, and perfecting my true passion—good BBQ. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design from Harvard on the Bayou, Nicholls State University. I’m proud to give back to my community by designing this year’s Firemen’s Fair poster in celebration of the department’s 150th anniversary. It’s an honor to apply my skills to such a meaningful project.
Traditionally, the poster has been painted, and I have a lot of respect for the artists who have kept that tradition alive. This year, I’m excited to bring my own approach while still honoring the legacy of this event.
The Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department holds a special place in this community, and being part of something that celebrates their dedication is truly a privilege. I hope you all enjoy the design as much as I enjoyed creating it!
